Tounge piercing risks ?

I am a 15 year old girl getting a tounge piercing and i would like to know the risks. Is it likely that they will hit a vien and paralise me? I also have a pretty small mouth my dentist says, so would my tounge swell up so bad that i will choke ? I have permission from my Dad so i will be going to a professional were my Dad will sign for me. Im proberly overreacting im just a bit scared. Is a a risky piercing ?
