When Mankind invents Human-level A l Will This Invention be the Last our Race Will Ever Have to Create?

ever since the TV series V (the 2009 one) priemiered ive been incredibley interessed bordrline obsessed with all thing aliens, future and space. and ive been reading up on blogs like ''future timeline net'' and other blogs attempting to predict the future and wikipedia pages also and ive read that one futurisst predicts that once humankind creates a hyperintelligent entity such as the supercomputure the eqivilant of ''all human minds ever to excist on earth'' this will be the last great creation our race will ever have to make, these ultraintellegant machines would be able to invent technology and solve problems within very short periods of time, seeing that this level of technology wouldnt be achived by humans centeries from now. e.g. humanity becomes a type 2 civilization (mining the sun) in just a few years after the creation of hyperintellegant computures rather than by the year 3100AD it is predicted now. im not very ''in'' with all this talk so forgive me if my ''putting'' of words isnt quiet right but to someone who really gets all this stuff what do you think, could this be true what do you think. please not try to answer if your very closed-minded(not that i dont respect your opion but im just looking for the most probible answer) thank you for your time.
