Could this be a reason to women's "indecisiveness," or their inability to say what they want?

That does make a lot of sense. I would have to agree. Women are, by nature, nurturing, caring, comforting, motherly types who are best at consoling and understanding emotions through physical contact with their child. Through glances and touches and soft whispers they can soothe the savage beast. Men, on the other hand, are literal, direct, and efficient, spending their time in contests between other men and protecting their families. So women understand emotion, but use their body language to express it, while men don't understand it but could probably put it in words if it was ever explained to them.
