Is it really rude to leave comments on Youtube telling people to learn how to spell?

I only did this once, I was on a video for Etta James and it had all of these comments on them and one of the girls was like "I luv dis song! I listen 2 it all da time" I was like... WTF, if you're not trying to fill up the comment box then why condense words that small unless you just want to come across as stupid?! lol... Ughhh its like my pet peeve. Who writes like that unless they're 3 years old? The girl commented back cussing a ton/using more weird words and calling me names, lol.
