Contemporary Band Suggestions?

So I'm stuck hardcore in the 60s and 70s when it comes to music and I need to find new bands. My all time favorite band is the Rolling Stones, David Bowie is a close second. I also like the Grateful Dead, the Beatles, and the Doors. Can anyone suggest modern bands that rock like these guys? Biggest pet peeve about today's artists is WEAK vocals (I need singers that really belt it out). Lame lyrics are also really annoying too.
